4″ x 60 yd. x 5.9 mil Tan Scotch General Purpose Masking Tape
3M 234 Masking Tape is a Scotch® General Purpose Masking Tape features a strong backing and has a less aggressive adhesive. It is one of 3M’s most popular general purpose crepe backed masking tapes and performs exceptionally well in most indoor applications. It also features enough tensile strength to be of use in many holding, protecting and bundling applications. A controlled unwind ensures the tape dispenses evenly from the roll, making it less like to tear prematurely. The 3M 234 has proven itself in window and door manufacturing. 3M 234 General Purpose Masking Tape features one piece removal and is sliver resistant.

APPLICATION: Surface ProtectionAPPLICATION DESCRIPTION:
Scotch® General Purpose Masking Tape 234 has an excellent transfer resistance for difficult to remove from surfaces like EDPM rubber moldings. Designed for non-critical paint masking. Used throughout industry for holding, protecting, bundling and a vast number of other difficult jobs where a pressure sensitive tape is needed. Tests indicate it is better than conventional masking tapes for sunlight resistance. Can be certified for ASTD-D6123/D6123M97. Replaces obsolete PPP-T-42C, Type 1, (CID-A-A-883A). Typical physical and performance characteristics include: thickness: 6. 0 mils, adhesion to steel: 34 oz./in. width, tensile strength: 27 lbs./in. width, elongation at break: 8%, temperature use range: Up to 250(deg)F. Tan.
