PARFIX® Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

Cyanoacrylate adhesive, commonly called CA glue or super glue, is a quick-bonding instant glue used to bond a wide range of materials such as wood, plastics, and metals.

The Parfix range of cyanoacrylate adhesives are triple distilled to provide the highest industrial strength with consistent performance for every assembly application.

Cyanoacrylate Adhesive Characteristics

PARFIX® Cyanoacrylate Adhesives are usually a single or a two-component acrylic resin in the form of a clear liquid. These are normally made of two ingredients – one is used to pour and the other as a hardener.

In the case of cyanoacrylate adhesives, water is the hardener. So whenever it comes in contact with moisture in the air, it automatically cures. Keep in mind that human skin is naturally moist, so caution should be used to avoid having fingers stick to the application substrate.

The surface properties of some materials are acidic or contain very low moisture content which slow down the curing of cyanoacrylate adhesives. Accelerators, Primers and De-Bonder for Cyanoacrylate adhesives are available for cyanoacrylate adhesives. PARFIX accelerators are designed to increase the cure speed and gap-filling capabilities of cyanoacrylate adhesives.
