Applications
APPLICATION: Surface ProtectionAPPLICATION DESCRIPTION:
Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 has a rubber adhesive that is aggressive and provides instant adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. The treated flat stock backing has good tensile strength to resist breakage. Offers solvent and moisture resistance to minimize bleed through in applications. Special backsize treatment provides easy to use controlled unwind. 3M no longer qualifies 3M tape 250 to meet the inactive specification MIL-F-18264D. 3M tape 250 has been used to conduct testing according to ASTM D-3359; however, this test method does not endorse or suggest that any particular tape must be used.
